According to most sources there were 392 Charger 500 made in 1969. The goal was to sell 500 of them to qualify for NASCAR. Charger R/Ts were sent to Creative Industries in Detroit to be modified and rendered more aerodynamic. This car is one of five special order Canadian Charger 500. It was bought in June 69 in Alberta and acquired by us from its original owner. It comes with much documentation and stories. It features the A11 option code which designates a Charger 500- A34 super track-pak – B41 Front discs brakes – B51 Power brakes- C21 Front center seat cushion (buddy seat).
The 440 engine was rebuilt sometime ago and has no issues whatsoever.
The grey paintwork — a respray of the original “A4” paint code — still looks excellent. The undercarriage is gravel guard coated.
The chassis, suspension, and brake elements have been restored to stock condition. The car is equipped with manual steering. The chrome is in excellent condition. There are no drivability issues and no vibrations, and the car rolls on BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials mounted on Magnum 500 wheels. The tires show almost all of their tread remaining and the wheels are in very good condition, with no blemishes.
